Manna's Hana's program will be helping "Youth at Risk" dealing with bullying, anxiety, PTSD, loss of a loved one or trauma from prior tornadoes. The closed session is 1 1/2 hours for six - eight weeks with a special instructors, horses and volunteers dedicated to helping these participants see there is HOPE. The session is non-mounted. )
Working with the horses can help at-risk youth to:
Enhance problem solving and social skills.
Learn empathy and stimulate creativity.
Accept accountability for behaviors.
Gain a sense of personal control.
Learn stress, anger and frustration management.
Decrease feelings of hopelessness and depression
